27 Skincare is a new brand of natural, mainly organic skincare. It's a brand that has grown from many years of expertise into wholly natural products and the range covers facial care, healing balms, mother and baby plus massage and body oils. The ingredients used are top quality and absolutely no chemicals are allowed. Luminate Design were involved in creating the corporate identity, the ecommerce website and the print material design.
Given the quality of the range, the corporate identity had to be elegant, minimal, reflect the luxury of the products and have a unique look. The brief was to marry a combination of traditional art deco styling with modern minimalism. The identity also had to be big and bold to stand out against competitors.
The logos encapsulated all of these elements successfully and lead us onto the packaging of the products. As budget was constricted due to the fact the company was a start up venture, we designed both labels which allowed room for significant amounts of content and luggage type labels which gave further information about 27 Skincare and its ethics.
Further print materials such as a price list were designed for the range, and more are planned as the range grows in popularity.
The website had to again be elegant, minimal and showcase the quality of the products. As with all ecommerce sites the navigation had to be intuitive and easy to use. This website is content-managed, meaning that all product information, page content, navigation and images can be changed incredibly quickly by the client. Recently launched, this site is going to be marketed by an SEO company who Luminate Design recommends.
